Brisbane Wedding Decorators Review

Brisbane Wedding Decorators Review

The bride wore a stunning Anna Campbell dress with a Babushka Ballerina over skirt, with the groom and groomsmen looking super sharp in black tie attire and the beautiful bridesmaids in full length baby blue numbers.

Our elegant arch with our white chandelier and drapes was very fitting for Rebecca and Aaron’s elegant wedding. Framing the couple perfectly with the river and city in the backdrop for every special moment as they became husband and wife.

Ceremony Location: Sunset Glade, Roma Street Parklands

Tell us about your vision for your wedding:

We wanted something simple, vintage and to incorporate a hint of the tropics (I grew up in the tropics and we both love tropical places).

Tell us about what Brisbane Wedding Decorators provided for your ceremony:

They listened to what I wanted, set up the ceremony, and even collected frangipanis (as well as used the ones I provided) and decorated the ceremony area… and this was done all arranged over email!!! FANTASTIC!

Tell us about your reception:

We had our reception at Wesley House, 140 Ann St Brisbane CBD. City view location and a blank canvas to do whatever you like.

Sage Café (Jamie) catered the event. The view and the food were the most talked about features of our wedding, which was exactly what we wanted – good food, good view!

What we loved

We loved hanging out with our nearest and dearest – family and friends.

We had a small wedding (58 guests) so it was just a lovely number. Don’t get me wrong, it was a very overwhelming day and the usual stress leading up to a wedding, I think what made it so grand was after the reception, our closets friends all went out in the city afterwards and recapped the night and ended it with such fun!

Describe your experience with Brisbane Wedding Decorators:

Incredibly easy to work with. Like I said, everything was planned over email, which when leading up to a wedding the less stress the better.

The booking form was great and allowed me to add and take away bits of the set up to make the set up as personalised as possible. And the fact that Cara walked around the gardens and picked up fallen frangipani’s to add to our ceremony was just amazing!

Tell us about any of your wedding suppliers that you were impressed with and why:

Angeline Sees Photography – Great at capturing real, un-posed, natural photos! A real eye for capturing emotion.

Hair: Kim Snare – the best in the business!

Make-up: Lucy Knott, very professional and very affordable! (I am a makeup artist in a previous career so she was fantastic!)

Sage Café: amazing food, amazing owner (Jamie). We had a banquet style menu and it was beautiful.

Get a Photobooth: Hamish is the booker and he was very accommodating with times for set up etc. It was such a hit at the reception!

Florist: Diamond Flower Co – I was blown away with the flowers we received. They were more then I ever imagined. She really enjoys her work and you can tell that through her art.

A word of advice to bride and grooms to be:

Pick a theme and stick to it and as hard as it is, do what you want to do – not what others expect of you.

Keep track of your expenses on a worksheet. Keep it simple, keep it to people you know want to celebrate this day with you and book a honeymoon!!!
